Beijing Olympics 2008

Yea...08.08.08 at 8.08pm 8second(i think)....the ceremony is very grand..204 countries march their way to Beijing for a very prestigious sports event that only held once every 4 years and the last one was in Athens!....After many trouble that the Olympic Organizers have to go through....now we finally can have a nice showcase of sport matches between many country...The opening ceremony is so nice...especially the fireworks



Cute mascots!...i like the original panda!!...i LOVE PANDA!!...dunno y...i really love panda because they are very cute and chubby!

OLYMPIC AND ITS ICONS...

The China government has made tremendous effort and development just to suit the game...the build many stadiums to sustain the events and the sports...NOW...the first and foremost!..

BIRD'S NEST



A stadium made into the shape of a bird's nest...very interesting indeed, they even have the opening ceremony at this stadium and it is really huge because it can sustain spectator from China and ppl from 204 country!...and that's so darn big...and i believe that Malaysia can't even do that due to space crisis and money probs...and nevertheless..the time..they built that stadium JUST FOR OLYMPICS!.....at the night of the opening ceremony...the fireworks are so beautiful till they looks like wings at the stadium..like this..



Then v have the gigantic water stadium for the aquatic events...

Cube-like design ...very very innovative and artistic indeed...and at night(from the outside)..it looks real like a water cube!....and then

THE BEIJING UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY GYMNASIUM



Another huge place for indoor events!...then the most scary one(for me)...the

BEIJING OLYMPIC VILLAGE!



To me this is the most astounding feature of the Beijing Olympic!..it uses modern technology to produce renewable energy...woots~..can support up to several million population!...MAD!..and it is fully in GREEN TECHNOLOGY!...really nice!..you can see more pictures from the newspaper!....smile*
