Well here is the happenings..now, this is the chef for today,
This is Khong Yi Wane...that's our chef that make the cake(not to forget her mum as well)..now the ingredient needed are the followings*Part A*
180g of self raising flour (sifted)
1/4 tbsp sodium bicarbonate
200g of castor sugar
1/2 cup of orange juice
1 tbsp of orange rind
8 egg yolk
6 tbsp of corn/vegetable oil
*Part B*
8 Egg white(from the remaining of the egg yolk)
1/2 spoon Cream of tartar
The steps...
1. Have all the ingredient weighted(duhhh...)
2.Have the egg white and its yolk seperated first
3. The egg yolk should be added with the orange juice and rind while the egg white should be added with the cream of tartar(as shown)....

4. Mix the A(the yolk) till it is smooth then mix the flour together.....


5. Mix the egg white with a mixer till it turn like (below)....

6.Mix all up....till smooth and fill it into the mould....


7. Put in a oven (preheat for 170 degree for 10 min before this!!) for 60 minutes under 160 celsius degree till it is done, invert it on a bottle and leave to cool..this is done to make sure it will not sink later..

AND TA-DA!!!....
The yummy chiffon cake is ready!!...try it at homecan use for many events including mother's day and etc. Hey!..couz, remember that you still owe me A CHOCOLATE CAKE...because i m sick now..cannot have chocolate so we did another cake.....Sorry for the late post and the forgotten amount of ingredient will be updated as soon as my couz online!....try it for with your mum or sis..it is really nice(my couz is good baker oso).....i hope i have time to try it by myself oso....haha.....smile*
